Quick Lime Lumps

Quicklime lumps are calcium oxide (CaO) lumps produced by heating limestone (calcium carbonate) at high temperatures in a kiln, a process that releases carbon dioxide. Also known as burnt lime, lump lime, or calcined lime, it is a white, caustic, and alkaline substance used in construction as mortar and plaster, for soil stabilization, and in various chemical industries.

Quicklime is highly reactive and must be handled with caution due to its caustic nature and vigorous reaction with water. We produce controlled-size, clean quicklime lumps from selected limestone to deliver reliable CaO content and predictable reactivity for industrial processes.
